York Dog Show

York Museums Trust's first dog show, taking over the Museum Gardens for the day: agility demonstrations, dog classes, vet talks, professional pet photography and a shopping village of pet stalls, food and drink, with proceeds supporting local charities.

A natural spot to strike up conversation while the dogs do the socialising for you — nobody's there with a fixed plan, everyone's just comparing notes on their own daft dog. Runs 10am–4pm.
