The Football Art Prize

Over 60 UK and international artists respond to football across painting, photography, film and video — including Alina Akbar's £5,000-winning video work "Footwork" and Sheffield artist Conor Rogers' £2,000 "Betting Slip" series. It opened alongside the 2026 World Cup, and this is the only chance to catch it before it moves on to the National Football Museum in November.

The Millennium Gallery is step-free throughout, with lift access from both entrances, and BSL tours run alongside the show — a genuinely accessible, free, no-fuss culture stop in the city centre.
