Dundee Flower and Food Festival

Dundee's flower show has been going since the 1800s and it shows — 700-plus competitive classes of prize vegetables, flowers and home baking, judged with real seriousness, set inside Camperdown's parkland alongside a food hall of Tayside and Angus producers.

Chef demos and family entertainment round it out, but the horticultural halls are the real draw for anyone who likes their days out with a bit of proper local pride attached.
