France-Lise McGurn: The Charm Offensive

McGurn trained at Duncan of Jordanstone just up the road, and this is her homecoming show — her biggest UK institutional presentation yet, filling both DCA galleries with paintings that spill off the canvas onto the walls themselves, alongside drawings, furniture and studio ephemera. It's a proper site-specific installation rather than a hang-'em-and-go show.

DCA is free, fully accessible, and has one of the better café-bars in the city if you want to make an afternoon of it — a good one for a quiet solo visit or a low-key date that ends in coffee and an argument about what you just saw.
