Art Outdoors at Yorkshire Museum Gardens

No booking, no charge, no pressure — just drop into the Museum Gardens on the day and let small ones loose on outdoor art-making inspired by the Yorkshire Museum's Chariots, Treasure and Power exhibition. It runs fortnightly on Thursdays, so there's no need to plan the whole day around it; just turn up between 11am and 4pm.

A nice one for meeting other local families too — the drop-in format means the same regulars tend to turn up session to session.
