Exhibition · London

Wellcome Collection's relaxed openings turn the gallery down a notch: fewer visitors, extra staff on hand, and sensory-support kit including ear defenders, tinted glasses, stim toys and weighted lap pads, plus a chill-out space if it all gets too much. This one runs through Gallery 1's Coming of Age exhibition, which looks at adolescence through art, science and lived experience.
Free, wheelchair-accessible throughout, and built for neurodivergent visitors and anyone who finds a packed gallery hard going — book ahead, as places go quickly. Booking opens 17 September at 2pm.
