Reading Vegan Festival

The ninth run of this town-centre festival packs Market Place, Broad Street and the old Market House with over 40 traders — dairy-free cakes, artisan vegan cheeses, street food and homeware — plus a running programme of speakers through the day. It's free to wander in and out of, so there's no pressure to commit to a full afternoon.

Easy to do solo on a lunch break or turn into a proper graze with friends; either way it's a good excuse to try five different vegan food stalls back to back.
