Not a curated craft fair — a proper, roaring funfair with a charter dating back to the 1200s, and one of Europe's biggest travelling ones at that. Ten days of rides ranging from gentle waltzers to genuinely terrifying drop towers, plus the toffee apples and hook-a-duck stalls you'd expect, all free to simply walk around.
It's the one weekend a year that gives Nottingham's teenagers somewhere proper to be — no ticket needed until you actually want to go on something, so it's an easy, low-commitment evening whether you're there for one ride or the whole ten days.
Never miss the good ones
We send the weekend's best hand-picked days out every Thursday. Free.
