Northampton's glorious 1936 International Modernist cinema opens its doors for free small-group tours behind the scenes — a rare look at one of the finest surviving super-cinemas in the country.
Tours run Saturday 12, Sunday 13 and Tuesday 15 September; booking is essential and spaces are limited. Worth knowing there are a fair few steps, so it suits confident walkers more than wheelchair users.
