Mike Nelson at Modern Art Oxford

Mike Nelson builds worlds you walk into rather than pictures you look at — labyrinthine, atmospheric installations assembled from salvaged materials that turn a gallery into somewhere between a film set and a half-remembered dream. This is his first Oxford exhibition since 2004, and a rare chance to see a genuine heavyweight of British sculpture (Turner Prize-nominated, twice representing Britain at Venice) at full scale.
