Manchester Dog Social at Layla's Castlefield

A Sunday-morning excuse to get out with the dog and actually talk to other humans — MorePaws' Castlefield social kicks off with a short pack walk along the canal before settling in at Layla's for puppaccinos, a mini agility course, hand-drawn paw portraits and a "teach your dog a trick" contest. Nobody's there with a group already, which is the point.

Turning up solo (well — solo plus dog) is completely normal here, and Castlefield's cobbled canal basin is a genuinely pretty backdrop for it. Good one for anyone whose social life currently revolves around their dog's walking schedule anyway.
