Sober Is Fun: The London Alcohol-Free Comedy Club

The UK's original alcohol-free comedy club, and it's the real thing — four professional stand-ups (this one's headlined by Geoff Norcott) on a proper club stage, just with a well-stocked alcohol-free bar instead of the usual boozy Sunday-afternoon crowd. Doors are at 2pm with pre-show table tennis and pool before a 3:30pm start, so there's a built-in mingling window before you even sit down.

It's aimed squarely at people who are sober, sober-curious, or just fancy a Sunday that doesn't involve a hangover Monday — and the format (bar games, shared tables, an early start time) is built for turning up on your own. This September date supports The Forward Trust's addiction campaign, which is a nice reason to go if you needed one.
