Liverpool Food & Drink Festival

The Palm House gives this one a setting most food festivals don't get near — a genuine 1896 glasshouse at the centre of Sefton Park, with stalls spilling out onto the lawns around it. Run by the same team behind the Pop Up in the Palm House markets, the mix leans towards proper independent producers rather than a generic street-food line-up: handmade pottery and jewellery stalls sit alongside the food and drink.

Entry costs nothing, which makes it an easy one to drop into for an hour or build a whole Sefton Park afternoon around. Live local music runs across all three days, and it's step-free throughout, so it works well with a pram or a wheelchair in tow.
