East Midlands Food Festival

Melton Mowbray knows its food, and this fully covered festival at the old cattle market pulls together artisan cheese, pies, charcuterie, cider and craft beer from across the region, with local chefs doing simple demos in the Food Theatre and a Kids Zone running hands-on workshops in chocolate, butter and pie making.

Wheelchair-friendly with disabled parking on site, though it's worth knowing dogs aren't allowed except assistance animals — plan accordingly if you were hoping to bring one along.
