A proper taste of conservation work for teenagers who are past the toddler nature-trail stage — small groups, real habitat tasks and country crafts, run by Sussex Wildlife Trust rangers who know how to keep it interesting.

Good for the kid who's outgrown the petting-zoo end of nature days out but still wants to be outside and getting stuck in.
