Wildlife Photographer of the Year at Eden Project

The Natural History Museum's photography competition travels down to the biomes each summer, and the images hold their own against Eden's usual scene-stealers — rainforest domes, giant sculptures — which is saying something. It's folded into the visit rather than ticketed separately, so it's an easy add to a day you were probably already planning.

Go early if you can, before the biomes get properly busy, and work the exhibition in on the way round rather than treating it as a special trip. Better suited to a full day out than a quick visit — factor in lunch and a proper walk through the outdoor gardens too.
