Garth Country Fair

Up at Cardiff's highest point, this working farm turns its fields over to a proper old-fashioned countryside fair for the day — sheepdog and gundog demonstrations, free tractor-trailer rides, and novelty dog show classes running from "Best Trick" to "Dog That Looks Most Like Its Owner," all in aid of Hope Rescue.

Dogs are welcome on leads throughout, not just in the show ring, which makes this one of the better dog-owner days out in South Wales — free to get in, with the views doing plenty of the work.
