Sober Open Mic Night

A monthly open mic with no alcohol or drugs anywhere near it — musicians, poets, comedians and complete first-timers are all genuinely welcome, sign-ups from 6:30pm. Bristol Sober Spaces rotate it between three South Bristol venues, and this month it's On The Hill.

It's warm rather than earnest about being sober — the point is a low-pressure night out and a way to meet people, not a statement. Good one if you're looking for a social life that doesn't revolve around a pub.
