RWA 173rd Annual Open Exhibition

The RWA's open exhibition is the closest Bristol gets to a state-of-the-nation art show — over 500 works selected from thousands of submissions, emerging names hung next to established ones, no theme to constrain what turns up.

Clifton's a good excuse for a wander either side of it, and the show runs long enough (into January) to make a considered, unhurried visit rather than a dash — nice one for a quiet couples' afternoon.
